Job Summary

Soliant is seeking a highly skilled School Psychologist to join our team in a full-time position. As a School Psychologist, you will be responsible for conducting comprehensive psychological assessments, collaborating with teachers and parents to develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and providing counseling and intervention services to students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assessment and Intervention: Conduct thorough psychological assessments to identify students' strengths and areas of need, and provide counseling and intervention services to address emotional and behavioral challenges.
  • Collaboration and Teamwork: Work closely with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop effective strategies for students' academic and personal growth.
  • IEP Development: Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to contribute to the development of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with diverse learning needs.
  • Cultural Competence: Utilize your bilingual skills in Spanish to conduct assessments and communicate effectively with Spanish-speaking students and families.
Qualifications
  • Education: Master's or Doctorate in School Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • Certifications and Clearances: Possession of all necessary state clearances and certifications to practice as a School Psychologist.
  • Experience: Demonstrated experience in conducting assessments, developing IEPs, and providing counseling services in an educational setting.
  • Language Skills: Fluent in English and Spanish, with the ability to conduct assessments and communicate in both languages.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with students, families, and colleagues.
