We are seeking a highly skilled Vascular Sonographer to join our team at USA Clinics Group. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for performing vascular ultrasound examinations and providing exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Perform high-quality vascular ultrasound examinations to create accurate Venous Flow Maps for treatment planning purposes.
- Collaborate with physicians to explain treatment plans to patients and address their specific needs.
- Ensure the efficient workflow of our office by setting up and cleaning procedure rooms, exam rooms, and ultrasound rooms before and after each patient.
- Perform additional ultrasound examinations as required by treatment plans to ensure effective treatment and patient safety.
- Adhere to standard time allotments for each type of ultrasound exam to maintain efficient patient flow.
- Work with our office staff, administrative staff, and physicians to review ultrasound schedules and ensure availability of ultrasound technicians for timely patient care.
- Develop and maintain quality of work and skills through continued education and interaction with other ultrasound technologists.
- Maintain equipment and manage supply inventory to ensure continued operations.
- Certificate of Completion from an accredited Ultrasound program.
- Registered Vascular Technologist, Registered Vascular Specialist, or Registered Phlebology Sonographer (RVT / RVS / RpHS) certification or ability to earn certification within 60 days of hire.
- Ability to work well in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
