Position Objective:

The Cyber Threat Analyst plays a crucial role in scrutinizing and correlating extensive data sets to identify emerging threats and attack methodologies that may exist within the organization.

This position is tasked with formulating and documenting innovative threat-hunting hypotheses to enhance the team's capability to detect existing threats that might otherwise remain unnoticed.


Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with technical teams within Global Group Security to gain insights into essential security controls and architectural specifics, enabling the development of effective hunt strategies and analytics that accurately identify malicious activities while minimizing false positives.

Provide guidance and review product evaluations, policy modifications, and architectural changes that influence the organization, serving as a thought leader in the creation of advanced detective, preventative, and proactive security measures.

Oversee the analysis, implementation, execution, and enhancement of proactive security controls to thwart external threat actors from breaching company information or systems.

Conduct research and deliver leadership updates concerning advanced attempts to compromise security protocols.

Maintain or assess security systems and evaluate security policies that govern access to systems.

Offer status updates and recommendations to the leadership team regarding the ramifications of theft, destruction, alteration, or denial of access to information.

Adhere to standard practices and procedures in analyzing situations or data.

Actively share knowledge and mentor team members.
