Aiken Regional Medical Centers is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our ICU Step Down Unit team on a PRN basis. As a Registered Nurse in this role, you will have the opportunity to provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with a dedicated team of healthcare professionals.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care to patients in the ICU Step Down Unit, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
- Develop and implement individualized patient care plans, taking into account the patient's medical history, physical condition, and personal preferences.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, therapists, and social workers, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Monitor and report patient vital signs, medication administration, and other relevant information to ensure accurate and timely documentation.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest medical research, technologies, and best practices.
- Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program.
- Current license to practice nursing in South Carolina (or eligible to receive or renew).
- BLS, ACLS required. Successful completion of CPI training during orientation.
