Job Summary:

The Career Advisor will provide exceptional employment-focused case management services to assist individuals receiving TANF benefits in addressing barriers and achieving employment goals. This role requires a strong understanding of employment-focused case management principles and practices, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Essential Job Functions:

• Conduct comprehensive intakes to assess participants' needs, strengths, interests, and capabilities.
• Develop and implement individualized service plans, including short-term and long-term employment goals.
• Meet regularly with participants to document progress, provide ongoing orientation, and ensure understanding of TANF and program requirements.
• Build effective partnerships with external providers to ensure participants have access to needed services and supports.
• Maintain accurate records and documents all communication and contact with participants and external partners.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Demonstrated track record of providing exceptional customer service.
• Valid driver's license required.
