Job Overview

NYU Langone Health is actively hiring for CT Technologists to join our team. This role is responsible for performing medically prescribed radiographic and CT procedures, utilizing computerized tomography scanners to produce cross-section images of patients' internal organs and tissues for diagnosis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately interpret physicians' scanning instructions, administer contrast materials, prepare and operate CT scan equipment, and position patients to capture the appropriate images.
  • Utilize computerized tomography scanners to produce high-quality images for diagnosis.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure accurate and efficient patient care.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Certificate from an accredited School of Radiologic Technology
  • New York State license
  • Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
  • Basic Life Support Certification (BLS)
  • IV Contrast Certification within 3 months of employment (for some positions)
  • Advance Certification in Computerized Tomography
