Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Fueling Specialist to join our team at Sysco. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the fueling and maintenance of our fleet of vehicles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Fueling and Maintenance: Check and top off all fluid levels on our trucks and refrigeration units, fuel vehicles, and maintain accurate records of fuel usage.
- Yard Maintenance: Clean and maintain the fuel island and yard area, ensuring a safe and organized working environment.
- Assistance: Provide support to our mechanics with preventative maintenance and other tasks as needed.
Requirements:
- Education: High School or equivalent preferred.
- Experience: Commercial Drivers License (CDL), Class B; Class A strongly preferred. Proven ability to operate small and large straight trucks.
- Physical Demands: Frequent bending, stooping, climbing, and reaching overhead during the shift. Ability to move and carry up to 50 lbs. Tolerate all weather conditions, as work is predominantly done outdoors.
