Job Summary:
Equiliem is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Critical Care Registered Nurse to join our team. As a Critical Care Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care to critically ill patients in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, and monitor patients for adverse reactions.
- Conduct ongoing assessments of patients' physical and emotional needs, and make recommendations for care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction.
Requirements:
- 1.5 years of experience in a critical care setting, preferably in a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of practice.
- Current certifications in ACLS, BLS, and PALS, with NIH preferred.
- Ability to work every other weekend and holiday.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with EPIC, CVP, CVVH, hemodynamic monitoring, and other critical care technologies.
- Knowledge of pediatric critical care principles and practices.
- Ability to float to other units, including adolescents, pediatrics, PHOC, and NICU.
