Your Role and Responsibilities

This position is for a summer internship aimed at individuals with a keen interest in Quantum computing.

The ideal candidate will have a robust scientific and technical foundation, complemented by a genuine enthusiasm for Quantum technologies.

The candidate should possess technical expertise in computer science and/or operational research, along with practical experience in Quantum-related initiatives.

Familiarity with advanced classical methodologies in areas such as machine learning, optimization, and quantum chemistry is essential.

As an intern, you will engage in projects with defined objectives and timelines, enhancing your existing skills while gaining a distinctive experience.

This role offers a chance to be at the cutting edge of scientific and technological advancements as a pivotal technical contributor.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate a meticulous approach, coupled with strong creativity, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
  • Currently enrolled in a PhD or Master's program in fields related to Computer Science, with a focus on Quantum computing.
  • Experience in Machine Learning, Quantum Chemistry, and/or Optimization, enabling the candidate to write and evaluate algorithms across various programming languages.
  • Understanding of classical techniques in optimization, machine learning, and linear algebra.
  • Familiarity with Qiskit software.
  • A detail-oriented team player with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to assume leadership when required.
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

A demonstrated record of publications would be advantageous.
