Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Phlebotomy Specialist to join our team at SouthCoast Health. As a full-time Float Phlebotomist, you will be responsible for completing laboratory procedures as ordered by healthcare providers.

The ideal candidate will have knowledge of OSHA and CLIA guidelines, as well as experience in using laboratory equipment properly. You will also need to communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and coworkers.

Responsibilities include:

  • Collecting blood specimens from patients
  • Identifying and labeling specimens
  • Conducting laboratory tests on specimens
  • Maintaining patient logs and accurate billing information
