Cashier Job Description

As a Cashier / Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, processing transactions efficiently, and maintaining a clean and well-stocked store environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide courteous and attentive service to customers, ensuring a positive experience.
  • Operate a cash register, handle cash and credit transactions, and maintain accurate change.
  • Count, organize, and balance cash drawers, and complete deposits as needed.
  • Maintain a clean and well-stocked store, adhering to company standards and procedures.
  • Follow safe food handling procedures and maintain a safe working environment.
  • Comply with company policies, federal and state laws regarding age-restricted sales and cash handling procedures.
Requirements:
  • Previous customer service experience preferred.
  • Basic math and counting skills required.
  • Demonstrates excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
  • Must be available to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
