Job Title: Newborn Nursery Nurse Practitioner

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Newborn Nursery Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Delta Health System - The Medical Center. As a key member of our NICU team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to newborns and their families.

Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and manage clients in the NICU using established protocols.
  • Collaborate with physicians to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Provide education and support to families on newborn care and health.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Current Mississippi RN licensure.
  • Master's degree in Nursing.
  • Certification as a Family/Pediatric Nurse Practitioner by the American Nurse Credentialing Committee (ANCC).
  • CPR Certification.
