Job Opportunity for Speech-Language Pathologist

Introduction: Soliant is seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist to fill a full-time position at a school district. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in a school setting and be comfortable with case management for speech-only students.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to identify speech and language disorders in students.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address students' communication goals and needs.
  • Provide direct therapy services to students, including both individual and group sessions.
  • Manage case management responsibilities for speech-only students, including maintaining accurate records and documentation.
  • Collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and other members of the educational team to support students' academic and social-emotional development.
  • Attend and actively participate in IEP meetings to contribute valuable insights and recommendations for students' speech and language goals.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders.
  • Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure.
  • Previous experience working in a school setting is preferred.
  • Experience with case management for speech-only students is desirable.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage caseload efficiently.
  • Knowledge of evidence-based practices and interventions for speech and language disorders.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team to meet students' diverse needs.
