Animal Welfare and Bird Health Internship

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Animal Welfare and Bird Health Intern. This internship provides a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in animal welfare and biosecurity, while contributing to the success of our company.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in the development and implementation of animal welfare and biosecurity programs
- Conduct research on bird health and welfare, including data collection and analysis
- Shadow animal welfare and biosecurity specialists to gain knowledge and insights
- Participate in weekly seminar series to learn about various aspects of the company
- Present project findings and recommendations to the team
- Currently enrolled in an Associate or Bachelor's degree program at an accredited college or university
- Strong interest in animal welfare and biosecurity
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Basic understanding of avian anatomy
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
