We are seeking a highly skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team on a per diem basis. As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to the preparation and administration of radiopharmaceuticals, as well as operating and maintaining complex medical equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals to patients according to established protocols
- Operate and maintain complex medical equipment, including gamma cameras and PET scanners
- Perform quality control checks on equipment and supplies
- Assist with patient preparation and positioning for imaging procedures
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient procedures and results
- Associate's degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology or related field
- Current certification as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) or Registered Technologist (RT)
- 2+ years of experience in nuclear medicine
- Strong knowledge of radiopharmaceuticals and their applications
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Bachelor's degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology or related field
- Experience with PET/CT imaging
- Knowledge of radiation safety protocols
