Position Summary:In the role of National Solar Asset Manager, you will spearhead initiatives in solar asset management while enjoying a stable office environment with limited travel. This position is designed to foster both professional advancement and personal well-being. Join our team to enhance our National Solar Program and lead strategic efforts.
What We Offer:- Competitive Compensation: Total compensation ranging from $150,000 to $185,000.
- Customized Compensation Package: Includes base salary, performance bonuses, and equity awards tailored to your experience.
- Oversee the asset management and operational needs of our expanding solar portfolio, projected to surpass 1000 systems by 2025.
- Lead a team of Solar Operations Specialists, collaborating with Finance to develop operational strategies.
- Establish and manage processes for identifying and addressing performance issues, implementing corrective measures.
- Ensure a seamless transition from field construction to operational status, maintaining visibility on the monitoring platform.
- Align production data with underwriting assumptions and contractual agreements.
- Facilitate the onboarding of new solar systems from acquisitions and construction projects.
- Continuously explore opportunities for performance enhancement and optimization.
- Monitor and report on financial performance, establishing ongoing forecasts.
- Foster a high-performance team to support business scalability.
- Research and implement best practices and innovative technologies for monitoring and operations.
- Coordinate with local Facilities Asset Managers to resolve property-level challenges.
- Manage operational agreements and recommend strategies based on market demands.
- Provide performance metrics for sustainability reporting and renewable energy credit monetization.
- Engage in additional sustainability initiatives to advance company objectives.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in solar asset management with large portfolios.
- Proven leadership experience.
- In-depth knowledge of technical solar asset management.
- Strong financial acumen, including budget management and contract oversight.
- Experience in a corporate setting with a focus on customer service.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is preferred.
- Exceptional negotiation and communication skills.
