Job Summary:

As a Cardiac Lab Technologist II at Baptist Memorial Health Care, you will play a vital role in the diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular diseases. We are seeking a skilled and compassionate professional to join our team in the Electrophysiology Lab at BMH Desoto Hospital.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform imaging procedures and treatments according to radiology practice standards to aid in diagnosis and treatment of disease.

• Develop and implement procedure/treatment plans utilizing established hospital protocols and guidelines.

• Maintain equipment, procedure/treatment rooms, and work areas in a neat and safe condition to ensure patient and staff safety.

• Participate in hospital and departmental Performance Improvement activities to ensure consistent patient care with established standards.

Requirements:

• Registered by American Registry of Radiologic Technologists with Registry in Radiography ARRT (R) required.

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire date.

• Minimum 6 months experience in specialty area as required to meet all Cardiac Cath competencies at the end of the orientation period.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Registry in Vascular Interventional ARRT (VI) or Registry in Cardiovascular Intervention Specialist (RCIS) preferred.

• ARRT (VI) certification preferred.
