The ideal candidate will support the Construction Superintendent in managing all on-site activities and ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and according to specifications. This role is vital for maintaining quality control, enforcing safety protocols, and coordinating with various project teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Superintendent in overseeing daily construction site operations, ensuring smooth workflow, and resolving any onsite issues.
  • Work with subcontractors, vendors, and construction teams to ensure project schedules are maintained and resources are appropriately allocated.
  • Monitor work to ensure compliance with design plans, building codes, safety standards, and quality specifications.
  • Enforce and monitor safety protocols, ensuring all team members adhere to OSHA standards and company safety policies.
  • Assist in preparing and presenting daily progress reports to the Superintendent and project management team.
  • Support the management of onsite personnel, ensuring clear communication and effective collaboration across all trades.
  • Address and resolve any construction-related issues or delays in a timely manner, ensuring that project deadlines are met.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in construction supervision or a related role.
  • Strong understanding of construction processes, building codes, and regulations in New York.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and project specifications.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with project management software (Procore etc.) is a plus.
  • OSHA 30 certification is preferred.
