Job Overview

The Sanitation Services Specialist plays a vital role in maintaining a clean and safe environment within the healthcare facility. This position is essential for ensuring that all areas are kept to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene.

Work Schedule
  • Full-Time - 3 p.m. to 11:30 p.m.
  • Scheduled for 80 hours every two weeks
Key Responsibilities
  • Operates under the guidance of the Coordinator and/or Unit Leader.
  • Responsible for executing cleaning tasks in administrative offices, patient care zones, communal spaces, storage areas, and ensuring the correct disposal of both solid and hazardous waste.
  • Procures cleaning materials, paper supplies, and plastic liners as required for designated work areas.
  • Undertakes additional responsibilities as assigned to support the department in fulfilling its obligations to patients, customers, and the overall mission of the healthcare facility.
Qualifications
  • Availability to work every other weekend is required.
  • Must possess full body mobility.
  • Occasionally required to lift items weighing up to 50 lbs.
Education and Certifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent is necessary.
Experience
  • Prior experience in cleaning or sanitation roles is preferred.
