Position Overview:

As a vital member of our healthcare team, the Travel RN for Cardiothoracic Intensive Care Unit (CTICU) will provide exceptional patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Location:
Join us at a leading healthcare facility in Colorado, where you will be part of a dedicated team focused on improving patient outcomes.

Department:
17 Bed CTICU

Employment Type:
Full Time, 0.9 FTE, 72 hours per pay period (2 weeks)

Work Schedule:
Rotating Day/Night shifts

Compensation:
$55.00 per hour, along with a comprehensive travel package/stipend

Assignment Duration:
13-week assignments available with potential for extension

Qualifications:
- Current Colorado RN license or eNLC privileges
- Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience
- ACLS certification
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross, with card in-hand prior to start date.

- Deliver high-quality patient care using the nursing process
- Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team to achieve outstanding results

- Mentor and guide new healthcare professionals and team members

- Ensure safety and quality at the point of care

Critical Care Responsibilities:
- Provide direct care in an Intensive Care Unit (ICU) or Progressive Care Unit (PCU) setting, managing complex patient needs
- Utilize AACN's Synergy Model and specialty certification standards in evidence-based care practices
