Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Regional Truck Driver to join our team at US Foods, Inc. As a Class A Delivery Driver, you will play a critical role in delivering food products to customers across the region while adhering to scheduled delivery times.

Job Responsibilities
  • Delivery Operations: Safely drive trucks to customers, meeting scheduled delivery times and ensuring timely delivery of products.
  • Load Unloading and Verification: Carefully unload products from the trailer using equipment such as two-wheelers, pallet jacks, or by hand, verifying accuracy with customers and obtaining proper signatures.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, handling collections and payments when applicable, and performing all pre-trip and post-trip equipment inspections.
Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must possess a valid CDL Class A license issued by the state of legal residence, with necessary endorsements and DOT qualifications. A minimum of six months commercial driving experience is required, with preference given to candidates with experience in the food and/or beverage delivery industry.

Physical Requirements

You must be able to lift, carry, push, or pull 20 to 80+ pounds of product repetitively during each shift. Comfortable driving and working in inclement weather conditions with frequent stops (10+ per shift) is also required.
