Key Responsibilities- Provide professional nursing care to patients with cardiovascular conditions, utilizing evidence-based practices and protocols.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans, ensuring patient-centered care and optimal outcomes.
- Conduct thorough assessments, identify patient needs, and develop effective plans to address those needs.
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed by physicians, while monitoring patient responses and adjusting care plans as necessary.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination and patient satisfaction.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of best practices and policies.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Michigan.
- Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).
- BLS Provider certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).
- Minimum of six months of experience in cardiovascular care, with a focus on telemetry monitoring and 12-lead EKG interpretation.
- Experience with pre- and post-procedure care, including sheath and groin management.
- Knowledge of moderate conscious sedation recovery and ACLS/BLS protocols.
