Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist to join our team at Infojini Healthcare. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for performing high-quality CT scans and related procedures, ensuring accurate and timely results for our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform complex CT procedures, utilizing professional judgment to review and obtain patient clinical history and document information in PACS.
  • Prepare, screen, and review the accuracy of contrast questionnaires with patients and/or family members, scanning information into EPIC.
  • Identify and/or administer contrast media related to CT exams as prescribed by licensed practitioners.
  • Review patient prescriptions to verify appropriateness of exams and communicate with Radiologists and Referring Physicians to obtain additional clinical information or new prescriptions.
  • Responsible for calling physicians to clarify prescriptions in accordance with CT protocols.
  • Verify insurance authorized exam scripts and send exam modification forms to Finance for insurance purposes.
Requirements
  • Graduate of a Radiologic Technologist program.
  • ARRT Certified R.T.(R) license required.
  • American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification within three months of hire.
  • Knowledge of anatomy and physiology, radiological positioning of the human body, and mechanical attributes of CT software and hardware.
  • Thorough knowledge of PACS system and ability to maintain CEU Credits.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Six months CT experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of Epic and any HIS/RIS system added by the hospital.
Work Environment

This is a full-time position with a guaranteed 40 hours per week and 89 contract weeks per year. The schedule includes holidays and weekends, with overtime as needed to provide quality patient care. On-call assignments may be required per Department of Radiology policy.
