About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Goods Delivery Specialist to join our team at Sonepar. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for delivering electrical goods to our customers in a timely and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver electrical goods to customers in a safe and timely manner
  • Load and unload materials from vehicles, ensuring accurate inventory and proper storage
  • Notify the QA team and supervisor of any issues or discrepancies with deliveries
  • Label and track returned materials, noting disposition and reason for return
  • Verify quantities of goods received and obtain signatures for deliveries
  • Transfer materials between Sonepar warehouse locations as needed
  • Project a positive company image when interacting with customers
  • Coordinate delivery schedules and communicate with customers as needed
  • Maintain accurate records and submit expense reports for reimbursement
  • Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and reports
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Three to five years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Knowledge of electrical goods and ability to identify delivered items
  • Valid driver's license (class A, B, or C) with a clean motor vehicle record
  • Ability to pass the DOT physical (for applicable driving positions)
  • Physical ability to lift and handle materials up to 100 pounds
