Job Opportunity

The Swift Group is seeking a highly skilled Software Systems Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our cloud-based computing platform, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining complex systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop containerized services using cloud infrastructure
  • Support system operations and maintenance, including monitoring, troubleshooting, and resolving system issues
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of services
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in cloud computing and system administration

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of experience in software engineering and system administration
  • Strong knowledge of Linux, scripting, and service management
  • Experience with deployment automation and continuous integration technologies
  • Knowledge of containers and orchestration technologies, such as Docker and Kubernetes
  • US citizenship and an active TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance required

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with Amazon Web Services
  • Java programming experience
  • Experience developing/maintaining complex systems that involved integrating open source and GOTS software
  • Knowledge of or experience with data science applications, such as Python and Jupyter Notebook
