We are seeking an experienced Front End Developer with expertise in Angular v12 or higher.

This role requires on-site presence in Boston, working four days a week. An in-person interview is mandatory.


As a Senior Front End Java Engineer, you will be an integral part of a high-performing engineering team focused on modernizing our internal eService platforms, which serve as the primary interface for our customers. Your contributions will be vital in enhancing application performance, providing production support, and implementing technical upgrades.


Key Qualifications:

  • 6-8+ years of comprehensive frontend and backend experience in developing scalable applications using Java/J2EE (preferably Java version 8 or higher).
  • Proficiency in AWS and RESTful Web Services.
  • Experience with frameworks such as Spring, Spring Boot, WebSphere, JBOSS, ESB (Mule), Rule Engines (e.g., Drools), JUnit, Hibernate/MyBatis, and Unix Shell Scripting.
  • Strong skills in Angular (version 12 and above).
  • Familiarity with JavaScript frameworks including AngularJS, ExpressJS, NodeJS, or ReactJS.
  • Knowledge of SQL, XML, and DB2.
  • Mobile development experience (iOS/Android) is advantageous.
  • Java Certifications (developer, web component) are preferred.
  • Experience in design methodologies including class diagrams, sequence diagrams, and activity diagrams.
  • Proficient in SOAP and REST web services design and development.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred.
  • Understanding of IT concepts, strategies, and methodologies.
  • Familiarity with diverse technologies and modern technical architecture principles.
  • Comprehension of layered systems architectures and design solutions.
  • Knowledge of Object-Oriented Design Patterns.
  • Experience in the property and casualty (P&C) insurance industry is a plus but not mandatory.
