We are a well-established, collaborative team of 10 physicians and 2 advanced practice providers (APPs), supported by a clinical performance nurse. Our program is divided into two daytime groups, each comprised of four physicians and one APP, with a dedicated nocturnist physician for night coverage.
Our Practice- We relish the challenge of managing complex cases within a semi-open ICU that benefits from intensivist coverage around the clock. Our team is not responsible for procedures or code management.
- We actively engage in teaching, working alongside medical students, APPs, and residents from Lincoln Memorial University in Tennessee.
- Weekly group huddles allow us to discuss daily challenges and share important updates.
- Recognizing the importance of work-life balance, we offer a flexible schedule that accommodates personal commitments. We have a culture of covering for each other when one of us needs time off.
