Nursing Assistant

Job Summary:
Claxton-Hepburn Medical Center is seeking a Nursing Assistant to provide basic physiologic and psychosocial care in a residential long-term and/or acute care setting.
Responsibilities:
- Provides basic care, safety measures, and environmental care as delegated and supervised by a Registered Nurse.
- Assists with patient care, including lifting and moving patients, and walking or standing for long periods.
- Must be in good physical health and possess strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and ability to prioritize assignments.
- Must be compassionate and personable, with the ability to handle emotional and stressful situations professionally.
Requirements:
- Prior work experience in a direct patient care setting or in a long-term care facility preferred.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 3 months of hire.
