Salary

The estimated weekly gross salary for this position is $2300.

Job Description

This full-time contract requires an 8-week commitment with the option to extend.

The successful candidate will assist radiologists in X-Ray procedures, draw contrast media, mix barium, and maintain a daily work log.

They will also be responsible for positioning and transferring patients to and from the x-ray table using proper safety techniques.

Additionally, they will assist physicians in administering opaque media and during fluoroscopy exams.

Finally, they will dispose of biomedical waste according to CDC and OSHA guidelines.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • A valid license as a radiologic technologist issued by the NYSDOH.
  • Certification issued by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  • At least 1 year of experience as a Radiologic Tech.
