Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Department team at South Shore Health. Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and diagnose patient needs, developing and implementing individualized plans of care to address their unique needs and goals.
  • Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing procedures, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans, ensuring that patients receive comprehensive and coordinated care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of evidence-based practices that improve patient outcomes and satisfaction.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families, empowering them to take an active role in their care and recovery.
Requirements
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Massachusetts.
  • Minimum of one year of experience in an acute care setting, preferably in an Emergency Department or Critical Care unit.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification or equivalent.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities with ease.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
