Responsibilities:- Record patients' medical histories accurately
- Take and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and heart rate
- Observe patients under treatment to identify progress and potential side effects of medications
- Monitor patients' condition, including fluid intake and output, and maintain accurate patient charts
- Assist patients with daily activities, such as eating, bathing, and dressing
- Administer medications, injections, and enemas as prescribed
- Collect samples for lab testing as assigned
- Provide emotional and psychological support to patients and their families
- Communicate with patients' families and friends to provide advice and instructions
- Proven experience as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or similar role
- Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team and undertake a variety of care tasks
- Familiarity with nursing home and long-term care standards and procedures
- Understanding of confidentiality obligations and nursing best practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate and able to handle stress
We offer a competitive hourly rate of $45, with 1.5x overtime pay. The position requires full-time hours, including every other weekend. If you are a motivated and caring LPN looking for a new challenge, please apply today.
