Job Title: Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a skilled Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse for a contract position in a top healthcare facility.

Job Summary

We are looking for a qualified Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care and support to women before, during, and after delivery. The ideal candidate will have experience in an Acute Care Labor and Delivery setting and possess strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities
  • Provide care and support to women and their newborns during the antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, and neonatal stages.
  • Monitor vital signs of the mother and baby during birth.
  • Identify potential high-risk problems and take appropriate action.
  • Educate and support mothers and their families after giving birth.
Requirements
  • Active RN License
  • Degree from an accredited nursing program
  • BLS, ACLS, NRP, PALS, and AWHONN certifications
  • Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care Labor and Delivery setting
