About the Position:

The Kansas Farm Management Association (KFMA) Southeast is seeking a skilled Extension Agricultural Economist to join our team. As an essential member of our organization, you will provide education and consultation to KFMA member farms in the area of farm business management.

Located in El Dorado, Kansas, this role requires you to develop and maintain relationships with approximately 80 cooperating commercial farms, assisting them with comprehensive and accurate accounting, and providing regular on-farm visits, annual business analyses, and tax guidance.

To succeed in this position, you must have a strong understanding of production agriculture, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently as part of a team.

We are looking for someone with a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Agricultural Economics, Agribusiness, Accounting, or a related field, with a minimum GPA of 3.0 and at least 6 hours of coursework in accounting.
