Job Title: THAAD Systems Engineer

Special Aerospace Services is seeking a highly skilled THAAD Systems Engineer to support the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) engineering directorate. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful implementation of the THAAD Agile development program.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate the program implementation of MDA processes and standards
  • Support THAAD Core Standards through the Variance, Alternate, or Citation processes
  • Review and coordinate with the contractor to Verify requirements
  • Assist in the development and presentation of executive and program-level briefings and informational papers
  • Coordinate across the THAAD Program Office, MDA stakeholders, and the prime contractor
Requirements:
  • 12+ years of related engineering/system engineering experience, preferably with THAAD or MDA engineering programs
  • BA/BS with 20+ years of experience
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Applications
  • Able to work independently and/or lead teams to analyze and resolve problems
Preferred Experience:
  • MA/MS Degree
  • Familiarity and past experience with THAAD, the Missile Defense Agency, and/or other complex Missile Defense systems
  • Familiarity and experience with missile defense components development, test, production, and integration

This position is contingent upon contract award. Active Secret Clearance Required. Special Aerospace Services is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
