Key Responsibilities:- Perform a competent level of nursing care, utilizing the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
- Develop and implement individualized patient care plans, taking into account the patient's medical history, physical condition, and personal preferences.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination and communication.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families, promoting health and wellness.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of evidence-based practices.
- Current RN licensure in Virginia or a compact multi-state license.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- BSN or MSN degree preferred.
- Specialty-specific certifications, such as ACLS, PALS, or NRP, may be required depending on the clinical area.
