About the Role

We are seeking highly qualified Research Scientists to join our Robotics team, who will be responsible for developing and implementing cutting-edge algorithms and prototype applications that can be used in various industries. Your duties will include designing, implementing, and evaluating models and software prototypes of robotic agents, as well as reporting and presenting research findings and developments to stakeholders.

You will have the opportunity to work with external collaborators, maintain relationships with relevant research labs and key individuals, and contribute to the development and ongoing improvement of our research through the computational implementation of our latest theoretical work.

About You

To succeed as a Research Scientist at Google DeepMind, you should have a PhD in a technical field or equivalent practical experience. Knowledge of the latest in large machine learning research is essential, as is experience working with simulators and real-world robots. Additionally, expertise in using large datasets with deep neural networks to make real robots useful would be an advantage.

Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $180,000 - $320,000 per year, depending on location, plus bonus and equity options.
