Job Summary

The Cable Splicing Professional will be responsible for the preparation and splicing of fiber optic cable within our telecommunications network. This position requires a strong understanding of fiber optic cable technology and the ability to work safely in confined spaces.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and splice fiber optic cable to ensure high-quality connections.
  • Operate OTDR and fusion splicing equipment to test and inspect cable connections.
  • Analyze data and identify potential issues with cable connections.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to complete projects efficiently and effectively.
Requirements:
  • 2+ years of experience in fiber optic cable installation and splicing.
  • Proficient in the use of hand tools and telecom construction equipment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to work safely in confined spaces and at heights.
