Job Summary:

We are seeking a Clinical Dietitian II to join our team at Penn State Health - Hershey Medical Center. As a Clinical Dietitian II, you will be responsible for providing leadership in establishing standards of practice for nutritional care and serving as a consultant to clinical dietitians, physicians, and other health professionals. You will also provide direct patient care, conduct needs assessments, develop and evaluate programs, provide in-service education, and conduct medical staff education and nutrition research.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership in establishing standards of practice for nutritional care
  • Serve as a consultant to clinical dietitians, physicians, and other health professionals
  • Provide direct patient care
  • Conduct needs assessments
  • Develop and evaluate programs
  • Provide in-service education
  • Conduct medical staff education and nutrition research

Requirements:

  • Master's degree plus 2 years of experience or Bachelor's degree with an additional job-related specialty certification plus 7 years of experience
  • Registered Dietitian (ADA) or Registry Eligible
  • Licensed Dietitian Nutritionist (Pennsylvania)
