Crisis Assessor

Mental Health Resource Center is a leading provider of mental health and behavioral health care services. We are seeking a skilled Crisis Assessor to join our team in a full-time evening shift position.

• Conduct emergency mental health screenings and assessments to determine the need for services.
• Evaluate and assess crisis situations, providing crisis intervention and referrals to community resources as needed.
• Coordinate patient transfers to community hospitals and communicate with insurance companies to obtain pre-certifications and authorizations for treatment.
• Complete required documentation and reporting to ensure accurate and confidential clinical records.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or a related field.
• One year of experience working with the chronically mentally ill population.
• Strong communication and decision-making skills, with the ability to interact effectively with internal and external customers.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Programs, Outlook, and use of the Internet.
