Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Travel Radiology Technologist to provide exceptional imaging services in various healthcare settings. This role involves working in diverse environments, ensuring high-quality patient care and efficient radiological procedures.

Certification Requirements
  • Mandatory Certifications: BLS, ARRT, ND state licensure
  • Certifications Needed: ARRT, BLS
Job Specifications
  • Specialty: Radiology Technician 7050
  • Contract Duration: 13 weeks
  • Shift Details: Variable shifts including 8-hour shifts from Monday to Friday, with potential evening and night shifts plus on-call duties.
Job Responsibilities
  • Experience with C-arm is essential; O-Arm experience is preferred but training is available.
  • Proficient in portable imaging and fluoroscopy.
  • Ability to cover various settings including inpatient, outpatient, operating room, and emergency room.
Scheduling Information
  • Shift Schedule: 8-hour shifts with variable start times; Day shifts may start at 0600, 0700, 0730, or 1130. Evening and night shifts are also available.
  • Weekday On-Call: Required after 1530, 1-2 days per week.
  • Weekend On-Call: Every third weekend, starting at 0700 for 12-hour shifts.
  • Holiday Coverage: As needed.
Orientation and Training
  • Dress Code: Scrubs are provided.
  • Orientation Duration: 1.5-2 weeks of clinical and EPIC training.
Department Information
  • Department: Radiology / X-Ray Technology
  • Facilities: 7 treatment areas available.
  • Common Imaging Procedures: Inpatient, outpatient, ER services for all age groups, including pediatrics and geriatrics.
  • Daily Workload: Average of 70-80 scans/studies per day, plus 5-15 OR cases.
Additional Information
  • EMR System: EPIC 'Citrix'
  • Equipment Used: OEC C-arms, Metronics O-arm, Fuji general and portable imaging, Siemens fluoroscopy.
  • Radiology Supervision: Supervisors and coordinators available during day shifts.
  • Radiologist Availability: In-house Monday to Friday; after-hours images sent to teleradiology.
  • IV Start Requirement: Not required.
  • Team Environment: A collaborative atmosphere with a supportive team.
  • Radius Rule: 50 miles; candidates cannot be employed full-time, part-time, or PRN with any facility associated with the organization.
  • Request Time Off: Must be submitted upfront (7 or fewer days per 13-week contract); additional requests will not be approved.
