Job Summary

This is a production-based role that requires the ability to perform machine setups, form material, and weld different sizes of wire in a safe, productive, and proficient manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Set up machines with proper spacing requirements.
  • Weld and form different diameters of wire.
  • Ensure adherence to all safety regulations.
  • Move and stack materials properly to reduce damage.
  • Ability to stand for long periods.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or higher.
  • Ability to read and understand assembly drawings, sketches, and blueprints.
  • Ability to accurately identify measurements of parts and determine required machine operations from the measurement.
  • Basic math and mechanical ability.
  • Ability to maintain a clean and organized work area.
Experience
  • Ability to read and understand drawings, sketches, and blueprints.
  • One year of relative experience working in a metal fabrication shop.
Working Conditions

Regularly spend long hours standing and walking. Regularly use hands and fingers to handle, control, or feel objects, tools, or controls. Regularly see details of objects that are less than a few feet away. Regularly speak clearly so listeners can understand. Regularly understand the speech of another person. Frequently work at a constant pace. Frequently bend and stoop to maneuver items. Frequently lift or move items up to 50 lbs.

Normal workdays are Monday - Friday 6:00am - 2:30pm. Overtime is required when necessary and will change the work hours to 6:00am – 4:30pm. Some Saturdays will be required as needed.
