Speech-Language Pathologist Opportunity in Bay City, MI

ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated and passionate Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team in Bay City, MI. As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you will work with a dynamic team of professionals to support students with speech and language needs.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Assess and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in students.
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and therapy goals.
  • Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students in individual and small group settings.
  • Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and other professionals to support students' academic and social success.
  • Conduct ongoing assessments to monitor student progress and adjust therapy plans accordingly.
  • Provide training and support to school staff on speech-language strategies and accommodations.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student assessments, therapy sessions, and progress.
  • Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's progress and provide strategies for home support.
  • Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and team meetings as needed.
  • Stay current with best practices in speech-language pathology and participate in ongoing professional development.
Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Current state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) (or eligibility for licensure).
  • ASHA Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) and CFs.
  • Experience working with school-aged children, including those with diverse needs (special education, autism, speech/language delays).
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • A genuine passion for helping students improve their speech, language, and social skills.
