LBH-Sinai Hospital Rapid Response is seeking a skilled Emergency Department Nurse to join our team. As a critical care travel nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced Level II trauma Emergency Department.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care to patients in the Emergency Department, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Participate in trauma care and rapid response team activities, including code blue and trauma activations.
- Perform advanced EKG testing and other diagnostic procedures as needed.
- Document patient information accurately and thoroughly in the electronic medical record.
- Current RN licensure in the state of practice.
- Minimum 2 years of acute facility experience, with a focus on trauma care.
- Previous Level I/II trauma experience required.
- ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIH, and TNCC certifications required prior to start.
- Ability to work every other weekend and holiday, with a minimum of one Monday and one Friday in a 4-week block.
- Previous experience in a Level II trauma Emergency Department.
- Advanced EKG testing experience.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a high level of patient acuity.
