The Nursing Study Assistant plays a crucial role in enhancing the academic success of nursing students by providing individualized tutoring, facilitating group study sessions, and guiding students in accessing various educational resources. Key Responsibilities:
1. Facilitate study groups that cover the curriculum of nursing courses.
2. Provide personalized tutoring sessions for nursing students.
3. Assist students in applying their knowledge to real-world patient care scenarios, including anatomy, physiology, microbiology, pathophysiology, pharmacology, dosage calculations, client assessments, and care planning.
5. Support students in accessing additional educational resources.
Qualifications:
Minimum Requirements:

Not mandatory for fulfilling the primary responsibilities of the position.
Education:
Currently enrolled in a baccalaureate or master's degree nursing program.
Experience:
No prior experience required.
Licenses/Certifications:
Valid driver's license is required for work-related travel.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Ability to safely handle nursing and health sciences equipment. Strong oral and written communication skills are essential. Flexibility and a commitment to providing exceptional service are required. Must possess critical thinking, organizational skills, creativity, and basic computer proficiency.
Act as a role model for peers in professional conduct and adherence to college policies.
Additional Information:
Applicants must maintain a minimum GPA of 3.0 or higher.
Utilization of standard equipment necessary for fulfilling the essential functions of this position.
