Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled CT Scan Technician PRN to join our Radiology Department at Methodist Hospital Stone Oak. As a CT Scan Technician PRN, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic procedures using a CT scanner and imaging equipment, ensuring high-quality images and accurate diagnoses.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform CT scans and other diagnostic procedures using a CT scanner and imaging equipment.
  • Position patients and operate equipment to ensure high-quality images and accurate diagnoses.
  • Enter exam data into the Radiology Information System and maintain accurate records.
  • Conduct quality control of assigned individual scans and assist in training new technologists/students.
  • Assist in maintaining cleanliness and inventory of the CT rooms, including equipment and facilities.
Requirements
  • Associate's degree or higher in Radiologic Technology or completion of an approved program in Radiologic Technology.
  • Medical Radiologic Technologist Certification from the Texas Medical Board.
  • ARRT (R) certification at time of hire and ARRT (CT) certification within 6 months of hire.
