Job Title: Endoscopy Technician

Northwest Houghton Hospital is seeking a skilled Endoscopy Technician to join our team. As an Endoscopy Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and efficient performance of endoscopic procedures.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the preparation and maintenance of endoscopic equipment and supplies.
  • Support the nursing staff in the care of patients undergoing endoscopic procedures.
  • Monitor and maintain the Automated Endoscope Reprocessor (AER) and perform chemical monitoring tasks.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.
Requirements:
  • Post-high school vocational or specialized training in a medical field or 2 years of equivalent experience.
  • One year of healthcare experience, preferably in a GI, OR, or relevant area.
  • American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC) BLS certification.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • PCT, MA, or CNA certification.
