Role Summary:

The Operations Support III is responsible for the effective management of inventory processes, including receiving, issuing, and shipping goods. This role involves maintaining accurate records of all transactions and ensuring compliance with company protocols.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the movement of materials within the warehouse.
  • Reduce supply chain waste and manage material destruction orders.
  • Assist in conducting stock audits and physical inventory counts.
  • Utilize the material management system proficiently.
  • Prepare and maintain necessary documentation related to inventory.
  • Handle hazardous materials safely and in accordance with regulations.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.
  • Adhere to all Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) guidelines.
  • Report any safety incidents or unsafe conditions to supervisors immediately.
  • Participate in required training sessions and programs.
  • Wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as mandated.
  • Identify and communicate opportunities for EHS program improvements.
  • Contribute to the effectiveness of the Quality Management System.


Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent, along with relevant work experience.
  • A minimum of 4 years in material handling, inventory management, or related fields.
  • Physical requirements include standing, bending, and lifting items up to 40 pounds.
  • Forklift operation experience and certification are preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet core job responsibilities through on-the-job training.
  • Familiarity with computer systems and office equipment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for professional interactions.
  • Ability to comply with departmental SOPs and regulatory standards.
  • Understanding of product structures and processing requirements.
  • Effective interaction with employees at all levels, maintaining professionalism.
  • Capability to perform repetitive tasks under pressure while paying attention to detail.
