About the Job

This position requires a Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology and current certification from the American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA). You will be responsible for evaluating patients, developing treatment plans, and communicating with healthcare professionals. Your expertise will help optimize communication and swallowing skills in patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans to improve communication and swallowing skills
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and caregivers to ensure seamless care transitions
  • Participate in case management and contribute to facility patient care and utilization review activities
Requirements
  • Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current ASHA certification
  • Valid state license (where applicable)
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds and sustain activity for multiple consecutive hours
