Job Title: Law Enforcement Officer I

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Law Enforcement Officer I to join our team. As a Law Enforcement Officer I, you will be responsible for enforcing state, county, and municipal laws, as well as college regulations, to ensure the safety and security of our campus community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform patrol officer duties to enforce laws and regulations
  • Respond to emergency situations and provide assistance as needed
  • Conduct investigations and gather evidence
  • Prepare reports and testify in court
  • Provide excellent customer service and interact with a diverse population

Requirements:

  • High school diploma required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
  • Two years of law enforcement experience preferred
  • Must be certified as a law enforcement officer and meet the requirements of LE-1 Certification with the SC Criminal Justice Academy within one year of employment
  • Valid South Carolina driver's license required
