Certified Medical Assistant Cardiology Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Certified Medical Assistant to join our team at AdventHealth Georgia. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our physicians and nurses in delivering high-quality medical services.
Responsibilities- Assist physicians and nurses with patient care, including taking vital signs, preparing patients for exams, and performing routine medical procedures.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including medical history, medications, and test results.
- Assist with appointment scheduling, prescription refills, and other administrative tasks as needed.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a culture of excellence in patient care.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and efficient workflow.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; certification as a medical assistant through a recognized organization (e.g. AAMA, AMT) preferred.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information with discretion.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including days, evenings, and weekends, as needed.
